In February I had the pleasure of photographing the Maternity Session of Michelle and Brandon in Copenhagen. Michelle was 39 weeks pregnant and, as you can see from the photos, she looked beautiful.
This Maternity Photo Session was very special because I knew that, a week or so later, we would meet again, only this time in the hospital, welcoming their little baby. As a matter of fact, this little boy was so comfortable inside mommy’s cozy womb, that we only met again three weeks later. Michelle had to be induced and after a long night trying for a natural birth, Beau came into the world by a C-section.
One day after birth, I went to the hospital to photograph their Fresh 48 Session. If you are curious of what a Fresh 48 Session is, this session happens during the first 48 hours of you baby’s life and it typically takes place in the hospital. These sessions make my heart melt. Parents invite you to celebrate their little one’s arrival with them just hours after their baby was born. That’s really something and I feel privileged to be able to document these moments.
Beau was born on the 18th of March, at Rigshospitalet, in Copenhagen.
