Elopement Photography in Copenhagen

As a Professional Wedding Photographer in Copenhagen, I have the opportunity to meet many wonderful people coming from all around the world to get married in Denmark. This summer, I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing international couple who flew all the way from Ireland to elope in Copenhagen. Julia, the stunning woman you see in the photos, is originally from Brazil. She moved to Ireland a while back for her studies and that’s where she met Eamon, the handsome Irish guy standing right next to her.

Fun fact – just like Julia, I’m also from Brazil. Around ten years ago, my husband and I packed our bags and came to Europe. We’ve set up our life here, and now we have two girls who’ve fully embraced the Danish way of life – they spread a ton of butter on their rye bread every morning, they bike to school and they know how to “hygge it up”.

Brazilian Wedding Photographer in Copenhagen

When Julia started planning her wedding in Copenhagen, she wanted to support the Brazilian community in Denmark. That’s how she found me. See, I’m not only a Brazilian photographer in Copenhagen, but my photography style was exactly what she was looking for. Even her makeup and hair were done by Claudemyr Barata, a Brazilian make-up artist rocking it in Copenhagen. He did an awesome job, giving Julia a natural and elegant look. And the wedding bouquet she got last-minute from Bering House of Flowers, a Danish flower shop, was absolutely stunning.

During our hour-long session, we totally made the most of it. We captured their civil wedding ceremony at Copenhagen City Hall, snapped some indoor shots, and then hit up some gorgeous spots around the city.

The mix of Irish-Brazilian love and Danish backdrops, made this day a success. Wishing Julia and Eamon a lifetime filled with happiness, love, and many more exciting journeys ahead.
