A Beautiful Coastal Wedding at Helenekilde Badehotel in Tisvildeleje
As a wedding photographer based in Copenhagen, I had the honor of documenting the beautiful wedding of Emily and Nick at Helenekilde Badehotel, in the coastal town of Tisvildeleje. Emily and Nick had originally planned this wedding three years ago but had to postpone due to the pandemic. Now, three years and one cute baby later, friends and family from all corners of the globe landed in Denmark to throw down and celebrate their love.
The day began with the bride’s preparations, surrounded by her closest loved ones. A talented friend from London took charge of the bride’s makeup and hair, ensuring the bride was rocking a flawless look for her big day.
The wedding ceremony took place outdoors, offering a breathtaking view of the ocean. The groom’s brother played the role of the ceremony maestro, giving the whole thing a personal touch that hit all the right notes.
To shake off the chill from the windy weather, the reception moved indoors. Guests mingled and enjoyed each other’s company, setting the stage for a warm and intimate celebration. After a breather inside, we hit the great outdoors again for some group shots and to capture those sweet family and couple moments.
Dinner was served in an elegant room at Helenekilde Badehotel. Between courses, we got treated to a mix of hilarious and heartwarming speeches. The talented guests even serenaded the newlyweds, cranking up the love and joy in the room.
