Wedding at Helenekilde Badehotel | Copenhagen Wedding Photographer
Ah… so much to write about this gorgeous Wedding in Tisvildeleje. The bride and the groom come from Australia and decided to get married in Denmark. Almost all the guests came from far away to celebrate the union of this beautiful and kind couple. The bride’s mother is Danish and since the bride was a little girl she came to Denmark every year to spend some time with the Danish part of the family. So choosing the destination for the wedding was not so random. Also, the couple has always agreed that they would only get married in a place where all their friends, regardless of sexual orientation, could get married. For seven years same-sex marriage has been legal in Denmark, another reason why the lovebirds chose the bride’s mother’s homeland.
And what a perfect day for an Outdoor Wedding at Helenekilde Badehotel. With a breathtaking view, the bride and groom said “I do”. Every detail of the day was carefully thought out by the bride. One of the most beautiful and personal things I saw at this wedding was the table seating markers. Behind each seating card on the tables there was a handwritten message from the couple, made specially for each guest. Isn’t it lovely?
And then, a wonderful sunset made way for an evening filled with good food, friends and many funny and heartfelt speeches. Ah, I love this part of the wedding, when we get to know a little bit more about those people we have been photographing all day.
This was a simply perfect day. Thank you Katrine and Patrick for letting me be part of this special day. I wish you a life filled with love and companionship!
