wedding at restaurant 56 grader | copenhagen wedding photographer
Last summer, I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful wedding at the Restaurant 56 grader, in Copenhagen. The wedding ceremony took place outdoors in the late afternoon. As the wind was especially strong that day, some precautions had to be taken so that the carpet and arch used during the ceremony were not blown away by it. Although it can cause certain inconveniences on the wedding day, I find that a little wind adds a certain amount of drama and movement to the photos.
After the wedding ceremony, we had half an hour to take some wedding portraits and some family photos. All family members were wearing light green, which gave a special touch to the family portraits. Once we were done with our photo shoot, we were received in the restaurant with delicious food and wine. The night was full of laughter and surprises prepared by the guests. Such an incredible and dear crowd celebrating M. & E. I’ve photographed many, many weddings over the years, and if I could give an award to the “best Master of Ceremony”, it would definitely go to the guy at this wedding, M’s son. He was incredibly funny and guided the guests through the reception so that everything ran smoothly.
I wish M. & E. all the best as husband and wife.
